Daniel Matthews (15), his sister Jessica (12), from Greenhill School, Tenby, and Lorraine Jones, Sainsbury's PR ambassador, are the Harriet Davis Trust team for this year's Boxing Day Swim.
Between them they already have sponsorship pledges for over £300. The charity is close to the hearts of Daniel and Jessica as their Mum, Dawn works part time for the trust.
"We are really looking forward to this year's swim," said Jessica, "because we wanted to help children less fortunate than us have a holiday where all the family can relax together."
Lorraine Jones is a veteran of the Boxing Day Swim and is delighted to be taking part this year as the trust is the Sainsbury's Local Charity Partner of the year. "It's such a special Pembrokeshire charity," said Lorraine. "I have been so impressed by all it has achieved."
Donations can be made online to support the team through the BT mydonate website - just search for Harriet Davis Trust.
The Harriet Davis Trust provides four specially adapted holiday houses for disabled children, adults and their families. Each year over 600 people are welcomed to the houses which are open to anyone at affordable rents for respite holidays. The trust also provides financial support to families in need.
2015 will be the 21st anniversary of the opening of the first trust property, Harriet's House, on Tenby harbour, and the charity is launching an appeal to raise £21,000 to renovate and refurbish both this and its other properties in Tenby, Penally and Narberth.
