Following the success of their fund-raising efforts from last year's swim, friends and family of Rory Rogers have again teamed up with the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim to raise more money for the Rory Rogers Fund.

Rory was injured in an incident last year which has left him with life-changing injuries and as a result needs continued support.

Since the incident, friends and family of Rory have completed a number of tasks and challenges to raise money.

They raised £4,750 from NYDS 2014, after 50 of his friends and family entered the water dressed as Red Indians.

The Red Indians theme is significant because Rory dressed up as a Red Indian on his 18th birthday trip to Benidorm.

Therefore, to keep the theme going, NYDS has provided 100 T-shirts to sell and all money raised will go directly to the Rory Rogers Fund. Each T-shirt will carry a Red Indian logo with the words, 'Swim for Rory, Saundersfoot NYDS'.

Martyn Williams, chairman of the swim, said: "Everybody within the village is aware of the incident and also aware of the difficulties that lie ahead for Rory and his family.

"Hopefully the donation of these T-shirts will help raise a significant amount of money."

The family of Rory wish to express their thanks and appreciation to all those who have supported Rory since the incident.

Once the 100 have been sold, further t-shirts can be bought at Tees R Us.
