On Saturday, a total of 27 ramblers met at Amroth in lovely sunny weather which fortunately lasted for the whole day.
The walk began by following a bridleway north to Trelessy Farm and then continuing on a footpath east, passing Eastlake Farm, before descending to Amroth church, where walkers were able to admire the cast iron tombstones.
The walk then followed woodland paths to Colby Woodland Garden, where lunch was taken.
After lunch, the walk continued through Summerhill and along a sunken lane and fields to Pleasant Valley, where the new multi-user path was taken to Wisemans Bridge.
The walk ended by following the coast path back to Amroth, which gave magnificent views of Monkstone Point and the Gower peninsula.
