Summerhill Quilters are hosting a Doughty Fabrics Roadshow at Amroth Parish Hall, Summerhill, next month.

The event will take place on Saturday April 6 from 10.30am to 2.30pm as part of their UK wide roadshows.

Summerhill Quilters started in January 2010, with 16 quilters meeting on Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4pm in Amroth Parish Hall.

Each of the members brings along their projects and sewing machines, with the majority making patchwork quilts and helping each other.

The popular fabric sale roadshows have been running for years. The Summerhill Quilters have hosted the roadshow over the last five years, in Amroth Parish Hall, where Matt Connolly of Doughty Fabrics visited Pembrokeshire.

The event is free, and all are invited. There will be a variety of fabrics for sale, including materials for patchwork and quilts, which is 100% cotton, with crafts fabric, extra backing fabric, batiks, and wadding.
