Find out more about the Active Travel and connectivity improvement proposals in Pembroke Dock at a Public Consultation Day next Tuesday, June 24.

The event will launch a five-week long on-line survey on proposals in the town and provide a chance for members of the public to give feedback on the proposed arrangements.

Proposals include:

  • High Street: Options on the creation of a Shared Use Path on the Northside of highway with a Secondary option of a quiet street arrangement.
  • Bush Street: Creation of a Shared Use Path to allow cyclists to be off the carriageway.
  • Trinity Road: Widening of the footway to create a Shared Use Path and / or a quiet street approach.
  • Prospect Place / Memorial Park: Introduction of a Shared Use Path running into the Town Centre and to the west side of the park along with further improvements to link into High Street.

The Public Consultation will commence with a drop-in session on June 24, 2025, between 9am and 5pm at the Pater Hall, Pembroke Dock.

The session will have representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council to answer any questions that may arise.

Following this one-day event, for those who are unable to attend in person, an online public survey will be made available and can be accessed, via: www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/have-your-say/consultations from June 24.

The online survey will remain available for five weeks concluding on July 28 at midnight.

Whilst the County Council encourages consultation responses to be made via our online consultation system, paper hardcopies of the designs and survey, along with a comments box, will be located in County Hall during the consultation period.

Posted copies are available upon request by contacting the team on [email protected] or 01437 764551.

Following on from the consultation period, final preferred option(s) will be identified. The preferred options will not be finalised until feedback is received from the local community.
