It was a glorious sunny Saturday morning when Tenby's Steps2Health walkers set out by minibus and car to their walk at Bosherston Lily Ponds.
Thirty-six walkers gathered on the site of the old Stackpole Court to be briefed by walk leader Margeret Lewis. They began by investigating the new wheelchair-friendly pathways through the adjoining woodland, before setting off in the direction of the Eight Arch Bridge.
They followed the footpath alongside the ponds to Grassy Bridge, where the groups divided to follow either Margaret or Janice to enjoy different viewpoints around the lilyponds.
What a delight to see the lilies in blossom and enjoy the beauty and wildlife.
The groups returned to The Olde World Tea Shop for coffee on the lawn and to congratulate Mrs. Weston (Auntie Vi) on her recent 90th birthday.
Tomorrow (Saturday) is a town walk. Please meet at the multi-storey car park for a 10.30 start. Coffee will be available at the Church House, with the opportunity to visit the Festival of Memorial Posies in St. Mary's Church.
