A bright and breezy day on Saturday provided 15 Steps2Health walkers with ideal conditions for a beach walk (writes B.S.).
Although the number of walkers was down, this was partly due to the fact that some of the regulars were involved with Tenby Floral Art coffee morning in Church House, to where we all repaired after an hour of enjoyable and sociable walking with walks leader Val, Gill, Penny and Lyn.
Our route had taken us out of town along the golf links path to Black Rock, then across to the South Beach and back along the North Walk.
It has to be said that the walkers have gained something of a reputation for scooping up a great number of raffle prizes at these coffee mornings!
Tomorrow (Saturday) we go further afield to walk around Bosherston lilyponds where the famous waterlilies should be in full bloom.
The minibus leaves from outside Sainsbury's at 10.30 am. To find out if there are any seats still available, ring Val Coates-Rees on 843951. Drivers meet Bosherston car park at approximately 11 am.
