The wedding took place on Saturday, July 12, at St. Florence Church, of Ben McDonnell and Jenny Mcassey. The groom, a gardener at Saundersfoot Bay, is the son of Tony and Margaret McDonnell, of 22 Longstone, St. Florence, while the bride, a shop assistant at St. Florence Stores, is the daughter of Dilwyn and Sue Reeve, of 7 Longstone, St. Florence. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin dress with diamante detail to the bodice and train. Bridesmaids were Tina Rowlands (groom's sister), Lauren Rowlands (groom's niece), Debbie Teesdale (bride's cousin) and Kelly, Sophie and Meghan James (groom's cousins). Best man was Anthony McDonnell (groom's brother), while the ushers were Paul James (groom's cousin) and Andrew Reeve (bride's step-brother). Following the ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. Victor Millgate, with Yvonne Morgan at the organ, a reception was held at the Parsonage Farm Inn, St. Florence. The couple will be making their future home at 22 Longstone, St. Florence.
