A useful step towards getting full enjoyment is to join one of the sections. For those high handicap members who haven't already done so, the Rabbits section has a full programme of events running through the year

Rabbits Section

The SPGC Rabbits Section is for members with handicaps over 15. They place an emphasis on enjoyment, both on and off the course, with a number of events during the season. These include our Rabbits Tour, which this year is from Friday to Sunday, June 20 to 22, based in Swansea with three games on excellent courses - Pennard, Pyle and Kenfig, and Machynys Peninsula. They also have an away day later in the year, and an annual Dinner Dance in November. There is also an opportunity for members to join the Rabbits team which plays in the Three Counties League against other clubs in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire. This gives the opportunity to play new courses for a minimal cost, including a meal, in a matchplay format. This year's matches are shown in the club diary. If are interested in joining the Rabbits section, contact Mike Swain, Rabbits captain, [email protected]">[email protected] or phone on 07802 752625, or put your name down on the sheet in the club.
