MEZZO Soprano Shirley David, from Milton, will be performing a concert in aid of Pembrokeshire Sibling Group and Pembrokeshire Young Carers on Tuesday, August 28, at 8 pm in St. Johns Church, Tenby. The programme will include music by Schubert, Vivaldi, Mozart, Gluck, Saint-Saen, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak and Grieg. Shirley will be accompanied at the piano by another well-known local musician, Sharron Lusher. Shirley David, who is chairperson for the Pembrokeshire Sibling Group, stated: "Many of our local children face difficulties and stresses at home due to the presence of a disabled person in the home. Both Pembrokeshire Sibling Group and Pembrokeshire Young Carers ensure that these special children receive time out from the pressures of the home and are enabled to undertake activities that would otherwise be impossible for them to experience. " I very much hope that people will support this worthy cause and enjoy the collection of beautiful songs I have chosen to perform." Tickets are £4 and can be obtained at the door.
