Pembrokeshire soccer star Liam Cullen hopes fellow football fanatic Jay James will fire his way through to the X Factor finals.

Liam arrived home from Perth in Scotland to attend the Kilgetty Cricket Club Annual Dinner and Presentation on Saturday after playing for Wales U16s against Scotland U16s on Friday evening.

Wales beat Scotland 2-1, with Liam scoring both goals.

A great cross to Liam gave him the opportunity to take the ball down the left wing and with a superb lob over the Scotland keeper's head, sent the ball flying into the back of the net for Wales' second goal.

Mum and dad, Louise and Brian, made the journey up to Perth to see Liam in action and were over the moon with the outcome.

We know Liam is going places - let's hope Jay is too!
