A MAN with strong Tenby connections is currently making a name for himself Down Under. Wayne Dickinson, son of Tony and Joan Dickinson and grandson of the late Ron and Olwen Dickinson, of Tenby, has recently started a business in Hervey Bay in Queensland, and it is now flourishing. As a director of Safety Security Management Services (SSMS), he and fellow director Dan Saumaki saw an opportunity to expand their security business in the Australian state and have been rewarded by acceptance from businesses throughout the region. Wayne, who has a family of seven, said that his extensive experience in the security business, both in Victoria and Queensland, together with Mr. Samuaki's expertise in the same business, made for a dynamic force in the security market. His parents Tony and Joan Dickinson, who have another son Jason and daughter Julia, live in Cranbourne, near Melbourne, and are well known locally, having returned home a number of times with the Australian Welsh Male Voice Choir. They are due to visit family and friends again over the Christmas and New Year period.
