Public spirited pupils in Pentlepoir School braved the wintry weather on Friday to carry out a little pick on Saundersfoot's Coppet Hall beach. As part of Keep Wales Tidy's new initiative to help keep the area's beaches clean, Year 2 children in Carolyn Walters' class have formed themselves into a Coastcare Group and have adopted Coppet Hall beach in an attempt to keep it litter free. The children paid their first visit to the beach on Friday when they picked up no fewer than 13 bin-bags full of flotsam and litter in less than half-an-hour.
