The 10th local annual Pembrokeshire schools Chevron Boccia Tournaments were held at the Meads Sport and Leisure Centre in Milford Haven. Boccia is a game based on boules that was developed originally for people with cerebral palsy, but is now played by people of all abilities and disabilities.
Five teams competed in the primary school competition in a round-robin, with the two highest scoring teams playing in the final.
The final was between Monkton Super Stars and Portfield '2', Monkton Super Stars winning by nine piints to four.
In the secondary school competition, eight teams competed in a round-robin.
At the end of the pool stage, Portfield '1' qualified for the final by finishing top of the pool. Team Preseli and Milford '1' had to play-off as they were on level points in second position. Preseli won the play-off by five points to one.
The final was between Preseli and Portfield '1'. Portfield '1' winning with six points to one.
Phil Thompson, representing Chevron, the sponsors of the event, made the presentations to the winners and runners-up.
