This year’s Trick or Treat Trail in Saundersfoot (which almost didn’t take place) turned out to be the best event so far!
Organised for the first time by The Wiseman’s Bridge Junior Rowing Club, with ten businesses volunteering their time and kindly donating towards the event, the trail was followed by the Steve Booth Disco at the Recency Hall.
This year as a special treat, Kelly Williams’ Khaos Dance Crew performed on stage with some very talented young dancers, who wowed the audience!
Saundersfoot Sports Club helped by hosting this event, which had some wonderful prizes donated by local businesses which were presented by Anthony Mattick chairman of Saundersfoot Community Council.
“It has been a fantastic event this year, with lots of new businesses taking part,” said Nikki Nelson, one of the event organisers.
“It really is great how the local community have pulled together to make this popular event take place, it is surprising just how far people will travel to join in on the Trail!
“I would like to thank all the members of The Wiseman’s Bridge Rowing Club for assisting the Juniors in packing the 32,000 sweets needs for this year’s Trail!” she added.
New to the Trail this year were Periwinkle, The Salvage Bar, and Saundersfoot Sailing Club, with thanks again to Edgecombe Guest House, Dylis Gallery, The Oak, Spar, The Chemist Inn, Little and Large Bites, and Ocean Hair Salon who are renowned for being the scariest stop on the Trail!
Raffle prizes were very kindly donated by local businesses - St.Brides Hotel, The Stone Crab, Wiseman’s Bridge Inn, The Mulberry Restaurant, Aladdin’s Cave, The Gower Hotel, The Boathouse, The Hidden Gem, Kookaba, The Salvage Bar, Beaches Gift Shop, Saundersfoot Pharmacy, and Tesco Stores.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and the Junior Rowers are already planning next year’s event.
