As the countdown continues to the 2010 Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim, organisers learnt that the Saundersfoot event had been included in Britain's top 10 festive swims, as reported by the Daily Telegraph on December 2.

Martyn Williams, chairman of organisers, Saundersfoot Festivities, said: "We were all delighted learning that we were in the top 10 of festive swims.

"Over the past five years, we have seen a massive growth in how the swim has developed.

"We have only been able to achieve this success through the commitment of all the swimmers who brave the water on New Year's Day, as well as the sponsors whose financial support allows us to advertise the swim in such a way that meets a wider audience."
