Saturday's match was the Caldey Cup, kindly sponsored by Jane, Rachel and Chris, of The Argosy, Saundersfoot - a big thank you from all at the angling club.

The club had permission from Father Daniel to use the island, for which they are very grateful. Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas and the crossing was cancelled.

So 10 anglers braved some nasty weather and fished Tenby's beaches - at least they could see Caldey some of the time!

First with 10 points and winning the Caldey Cup and £100 was Leigh Rogers, second with eight points and £ 50 was Mike Williams, while third with six points and £25 was junior Tom Wright and fourth with four points was Tony O'Neill.

The golden peg was number 11, Mike Williams. Unfortunately you have to win the match to win the cash.
