The Saundersfoot in Bloom committee are gearing up for this year's Wales in Bloom event with a little help from the community.

Pupils from Saundersfoot School helped put in some floral window boxes at the village's Tourist Information Centre recently, with members of the Saundersfoot in Bloom committee and Terry Lewis, who maintains the gardens.

"This year, the committee has been working hard towards the annual floral event and it's great to get the children from the school involved with the build-up and to lend a helping hand," said Rosemary Hayes, of the committee.

The children were rewarded for their efforts with an ice cream each from the Odleys family.
