The village of Saundersfoot is going batty this weekend as visitors swoop in for two days of Hallowe'en and fireworks fun.
The Big Bang Weekend will offer tricks, treats and fiery festivities and is expected to bring a business boost to the community.
The event, being organised by Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism, features a funfair, spooky bat trail and free fireworks display amongst its attractions.
And this have translated into extra bookings in local hotels and guest houses.
"We've been fully booked for the weekend for quite some time now. Families have told us that they are coming to Saundersfoot to take part in the bat trail, as well as to enjoy the fireworks," said chamber vice-chairman Michael Slade, of Cliff House Guest House.
The weekend gets underway today (Friday) at 1 pm with the opening of the funfair, before the evening's Trick or Treat trail, organised by Saundersfoot Guides. Up to 250 youngsters are expected to be joining in the trail around the village's decorated businesses, before a party in the Sands Club.
Chamber members will also be hosting the free two-day Saundersfoot Spooky Bat trail where entrants spot the cute beanie bats hidden around the village. All entry forms go into a draw, for a chance to win one of the cuddly creatures.
Saturday's fireworks display gets underway at 8 pm tomorrow (Saturday), with an exciting demonstration at 7 pm by the Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners.
Said Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism chairman, Phil Odley: "We're all set for a great weekend to brighten up the dark nights for everybody, and to bring some extra trade to the village on what might otherwise be a quiet time after half-term."
