The wedding took place recently at Nash Point Lighthouse, near Llantwit Major, of Miss Sian McDermott and Mr. Steve Powell.
The bride is the daughter of David McDermott and Ann Dent and sister to Julian McDermott and step-sister to Ann, Dorian and Ann Louise, while the groom is the son of Mrs. Doreen Powell and brother to Sue and Phil.
Phil was also the best man, with Charlotte and Christopher being the ring bearers.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge.
The couple, who live at Barry Island, honeymooned in Pembrokeshire.
