Members of the Rotary Club of Tenby attended the Year 1 morning assembly at St. Teilo's Catholic Primary School, Tenby, last week, to present the 'Charles and Audrey Roberts Junior Young Musician' engraved shield, which had been won by Year 6 pupil Sarah Davies at the competition held earlier this year. The Rotary Club were also delighted to present a cheque donation to the school in recognition of the wonderful performance put on, on the evening of the contest, by the talented choir of the school under the direction of the head of music at the school, Mrs. Margaret Blackledge. Rotarian Bob Storey, who had organised the competition on behalf of the Rotary Club paid, tribute to Sarah on her success, and also Mrs. Blackledge and the school choir for their excellent contribution on the evening of the instrumental competition.
