The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot recently had a lively night of entertainment at the Regency Hall when an Abba Tribute Band played to a full house.

It was great to see that some members of the audience were dressed in Abba costumes and danced in accompaniment to the excellent performers. Everyone seemed to have a very enjoyable evening and it is hoped that another entertaining event can be arranged for March 22 next year.

During the interval, club president Rob Talboys thanked everyone for their support and advised that the profit from the evening would be used to support Rotary-funded activities in the community and provide assistance to the disaster relief work taking place in the Philippines.

After the event, the Rotary Club of Saundersfoot despatched seven specially designed boxes to the Philippines through the Rotary organisation to provide water purification facilities sufficient to give families safe drinking water for 18 months. In addition, the boxes contain tools and equipment to help the families re-build their homes.
