Two years after leaving home, Tenby adventurer, Rosie Swale-Pope is in Wales again! Well, Wales, Alaska that is.

Rosie, who celebrated her 59th birthday at the beginning of the month, is well on her way to completing her 20,000-mile voyage around the world on two-feet.

She has recently reached the Kingikmiut School in Wales, Alaska, where she enjoyed meeting all the pupils and staff and telling them about her travels and her home town.

"We had a great visit with her," said staff member, Judy Standafer, in an e-mail to Rosie's local co- ordinator, Ann Rowell. "She is a fantastic lady. We all wish her well."
