ROUND-the-world adventurer Rosie Swale-Pope recently visited Tenby's Cancer Research UK shop in Tudor Square to donate some items of clothing.

Whilst at the shop, Rosie agreed to have her photograph taken with assistant manager, Micaela Poole, and volunteers Rob Bancroft and Jo Bolton.

Rosie also generously agreed to donate further items of clothing for auction at a later date and shop staff and volunteers thank her for her support.

The shop always welcomes donations of clothes, household items, ornaments and in particular at the moment, media items such as CDs, records, videos and DVDs for their new media department.

The shop is also looking to recruit new volunteers.

Said Clare Davidson, shop manager: "Due to the upcoming expansion of the shop and the introduction of a new men's and media department, we are looking for enthusiastic people to join our friendly team of volunteers.

"If you can spare a few hours a week and enjoy meeting new people, then pop into the shop and speak to myself or Micaela and we can arrange a time where you can come in for a couple of hours and see if you enjoy it."
