TENBY adventurer, Rosie Swale Pope, has had a car named after her! The 58-year-old grandmother met Russian Vladimir Petrov from Ulan Ude between the towns of Skovorodino, a remote town in Siberia, famous for making frying pans, and Yerofey Pavlovich. And so taken with Rosie's expedition, Vladimir decided to name the car, which he had been to collect when he came across the Welsh traveller, after her. He is now making a 'Rosie' car sticker for it. Meanwhile, Rosie has reached Tinda and is reported to be 'optimistic' and 'full of energy'. Her next destination is Yakutsk, 98 km away.
