The village of Rosemarket in Pembrokeshire has come together to raise £260 in memory of Ingrid the greyhound, who sadly passed away last month.
Tragically, Ingrid was attacked and killed by another dog whilst walking with one of her owners in the village on the morning of Friday, June 20.
Investigations into the attack on Ingrid are ongoing, with all relevant authorities involved.
Such was the shock and sadness of the events of that day, the community came together to support her owners, village residents Antony and Caroline Haley, who have been overwhelmed by all the cards, flowers, gifts, messages of support and homecooked food they have received.
Church Warden Terry Maddison, also decided to organise a collection in memory of Ingrid.
Antony and Caroline were hugely touched by this gesture and the generosity of the community.

They decided to donate all the money to The Greyhound Trust (South West Wales), where Ingrid was adopted from in 2019.
Ingrid was a popular and well-known resident of Rosemarket for many years. Her twice-daily walks around the village meant many people got to know her either personally, waving through kitchen windows or from their cars as they drove past.
Ingrid was also the mascot of Rosemarket Local History Society and in 2022, won the ‘Cutest Pet in Pembrokeshire’ competition.
