Sir,

I was aggrieved to read in last Friday's Observer that the disabled parking near Five Arches will be for the sole use of disabled persons only during the pedestrinisation period; as if life isn't difficult enough for the disabled!

It may be argued that Tenby has provided adequately for the disabled; perhaps this would be true if the provided spaces were used solely by the disabled but, sadly, this isn't so, due to the selfishness of so many able-bodied drivers who blatantly occupy these spaces.

I can only hope that the town councillors will endeavour to get this regrettable decision rescinded.
