Leisure Leagues, the largest nationwide organisers of small-sided football, are recruiting referees to run matches in Tenby.
Referees are paid £10 an hour and will be provided with kits, equipment and full training. The organisation runs leagues on Sunday evenings at Tenby Leisure Centre
Leisure Leagues executive director Stephanie Bullock commented: "We are the only operators of such leagues that supply our referees with everything, bar nothing, that they ask for. From professional holdalls to polo tops, rain jackets or even cable ties if nets need fixing. We spend in excess of £500 on average, per referee, each year, purely on making sure our referees have the right supply of everything they need, whether it is balls, cones or even a new whistle, and with over 1,000 referees running our weekly leagues, that's a lot of whistles! This makes our referees feel that they belong to us.
"We recognise that our referees are the most important people in our whole organisation, and we always back our referees on every decision, right or wrong, they may make during the course of a season. We are the only league operators who adopt a 'no appeal' policy if a referee suggests an exclusion or red card for any player."
As well as officials, Leisure Leagues are looking to expand their already successful leagues in Tenby by recruiting more teams.
