Saundersfoot need not fear the frost factor this New Year's Day because cheerleading troupe 'The Red Kites' will be on the beach to lead what will be a welcome warm-up if current temperatures are anything to go by. The Red Kites are the official

cheerleaders of the Llanelli Scarlets. They regularly entertain the spectators at Parc-y-Scarlets on match days, but on New Year's Day 2010, they'll be showcasing their talents on the golden sands of Saundersfoot beach in front of the many swimmers and spectators that gather for the annual charity dip.
