Sir, Contrary to the statement in your Summer Guide, the old railway track along Railway Street in Saundersfoot did not run 'straight down the middle of the Strand' where the happily demised and unlamented SPARC wasted so much of our money laying all those cobbles, but along the side, as many pictures of bygone days will testify. And whilst we are on the subject, the railway track had nothing at all to do with the coal fold at Wisemansbridge. That became defunct long before the railway line came into being.
