Every year, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery puts on an event for National Archaeology Week, and this year is no exception. 'Predatory Prehistory' will give visitors the opportunity to handle some of the archaeological artefacts usually only found displayed in a glass cabinet or stored away in a box. Collections manager Mark Lewis said: "This year we are lucky to have the enthusiasm and expertise of two archaeologists, one of whom has worked with us every year so far and one who previously worked for the British Museum. "Although our archaeology gallery is closed at the moment due to building work, this day will give people the opportunity to have a true hands-on encounter with the tools and remains of the past." The event takes place at the museum on Wednesday, July 18, from 1-3 pm. There is no need to book for this event, but if you wish to contact the museum, call (01834) 842809 for further details.
