The choosing of Saundersfoot Carnival Queen and her attendants took place at the Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club on June 9.
Wacky Wayne Wharton was the DJ for the evening, which was attended by a host of hopefuls accompanied by numerous parents.
The difficult task of selection was carried out by Mrs. Rosemary Hayes MBE, aided by Mr. and Mrs. Ken Daniels.
After long deliberations, Poppy Clarke was elected as Carnival Queen, with Rachael Williams and Olwyn Williams as her attendants. Amy Rawlinson and chosen as Fairy Queen, with Emma Knox and Sophie Davies as her attendants.
Carnival King will be Tom Baker, with Matthew Williams as Prince Charming.
The Saundersfoot Carnival will be held this year on Sunday, August 3, at the King George V Playing Field.
The crowning of the Carnival Queen will take place at 2 pm, followed by a procession of floats and fancy dress walkers, after which judging will take place on the field.
