Police appeal after alleged assault

Tenby police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which four Army personnel stationed at Penally were allegedly assaulted.

The incident is said to have occurred in the White Lion Street and Upper Frog Street area of Tenby at around 1.30 am on June 6.

Four local persons have been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.

Theft charges

A man from the Barry area was charged this week with four thefts from stores in Tenby.

The man, who cannot be named, is alleged to have stolen goods to the value of £585 during a visit to the town on May 20. He has been bailed to a court in Tenby on June 19.

Two arrested

Two persons were arrested in the early hours of Sunday for an alleged assault outside the Night Owl, Penally. They were bailed pending further inquiries.
