Tenby police are dealing with a 'hit and run' incident in one of the town's streets on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 2.50 pm, a man was walking down Upper Frog Street, when a white saloon car mounted the pavement near the Rugby Club and drove along the pavement towards him.

The man was forced to leap out of the path of the car and in doing so, sustained a serious leg injury. The vehicle drove off without stopping.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC644 Colley at Tenby Police Station on 101.
