This Sunday morning, the Rev. Ron Price will officiate, with the Rev. Hywel Brown conducting the evening service. The Ordinance of the Lord's Supper will be observed at both services. A Christian welcome is given to all to join in worship with friends at Pisgah.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP
The Ladies Fellowship met last Wednesday in the Sunday Schoolroom. Mrs. May Williams led the devotions and Mrs. Janice Scourfield played for the hymns.
Mrs. Doris James then welcomed Mr. Mike Gulliford, the speaker for the evening. Mr. Gulliford recalled, with some humour, his musical career, first as a choir boy and later as a church organist.
Mrs. Williams thanked Mr. Gulliford warmly for sharing his evening and amusing recollections with the ladies. At the end of the evening, tea and biscuits were served by Audrey and Rosemary. The ladies meet next on Wednesday, November 14, when the speaker will be Mrs. Sally Brace, of Jeffreyston.
A Christmas meal for the Ladies Fellowship and friends has been booked at the Broadmead Hotel in Tenby on Wednesday, December 12. Ladies are asked to submit their names and menu choices before the end of November.
