Peter Edwards, of Tenby, is pictured with his winning bag of fish at the grand final of the Holgan Fishing Championship Festival in Llawhaden on Saturday.
The competition was organised as part of Pembrokeshire Fish Week by former world angling champion Ian Heaps at Holgan Farm.
Each of the 15 finalists qualified through heats held each evening during the previous five days.
Peter, whose winning bag totalled 13lbs 10ozs, won £150 plus dinner for two at The Wolfe Inn, Wolfscastle, courtesy of Gianni Di Lorenzo, who sponsored the final.
Just two ounces behind was runner-up Eric Rimmer, of Haverfordwest, who won £75, and third Scott Heaps, £50.
Said Ian Heaps: "The competition proved so popular that we intend making it an annual event with a perpetual trophy at stake."
