Tenby and County Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Get Stuffed Pizza Co.) played host to the Black Rabbit B team on Monday evening and were 4-1 winners.

The first frame saw Martin Durham take on E. Power. Martin started the stronger, opening up a good early lead, only for his opponent to peg him back. Martin seemed to be in a rush to get over the winning line, but he soon calmed down to close the game out well on the blue.

The second frame saw Steve Cook take on B. Powney. Steve (in the only way he knows) started like a rocket, and continued to fire all frame, winning it very easily.

The third saw Mark Cleevely take on D. Lewis. Mark was obviously in a hurry as he started well, but a couple of uncharacterstic mistakes let his opponent back in. Mark was in determined mood, however, and was soon back in front, but only just. He then produced an 18 break to take command, but back came his opponent again to pressurise Mark. With blue, pink and black remaining, Mark's opponent needed snookers, which he didn't get.

The fourth frame saw captain Glyn Davies take on M. Broxton. Glyn started very edgily, missing some easy balls, but soon got going with a couple of good pots. However, more mistakes let his opponent back in to tie the scores, before Glyn, taking a deep breath, dug deep to win on the blue.

The last frame saw Dave Wooles take on M. Roberts. Dave started slowly (as he normally does), but soon pulled out some good pots. His opponent is a good player and will fight to the end, but Dave was definitely determined, having been unlucky in previous weeks.

Dave was potting some good balls to go into a nine-point lead midway through the frame, but back came his opponent again to wrap it up on the pink.
