For its first monthly lecture of 2024, the Pembrokeshire Historical Society will be welcoming author and local historian Edward Perkins who will be speaking on ‘The History of Agriculture in Pembrokeshire up to 1900’.

A Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society, Edward is well-known in the local farming community, having been an agricultural valuer for over 50 years, while his many interests include the early maps of Pembrokeshire.

All are welcome to the lecture which will be on Friday, January 5, at the Pembrokeshire Archives in Prendergast, Haverfordwest, 2.30pm.
