Congratulations to Tenby for winning Wales in Bloom; they really do deserve the accolade.

I am led to believe that the Pembroke County Council maintenace team are also to be congratulated for playing their own part in Tenby's success.

However, whilst they have been primping and preening Tenby, even painting the street furniture I do believe, Pembroke, the older historical town with the finest of Norman castles, is up to its eyeballs in weeds and detritis.

Share the workload maintenance team and give our proud town a thought. On reflection, don't bother, the tourist season is finished.
