PEMBROKE’S Community Carol Service takes place at Pembroke Town Hall this Friday evening, December 12.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the service begins at 7pm.
All locals and visitors are invited to “Come and join the celebrations”.
The Town Hall has already seen plenty of Christmas activity this month, including the Pembroke & Monkton Local History Society’s bumper Christmas Hamper draw.
On December 5, a packed-out Town Hall saw the Pembroke Young at Heart having their Christmas Service and Dinner. Pembroke Town Council thanked all who came, with a ‘big shout out’ to Dai Powell for cooking a wonderful meal and all the helpers, (Liz, Ann, Anne, Kaylee, Jayne, Dennis, Jo, Gareth, and Jenny, Rob and Mo, and Heidi and Will).
Over the weekend, over 90 children came in to the Town Hall to meet Father Christmas.
Jonathan Grimes, County Councillor for Pembroke St Mary South and Monkton (who dressed in a Christmas Pud outfit for the occasion), said:
“Well done to all the staff and helpers for putting so much effort into this free event that brought so much excitement and happiness to so many children.”
