The annual 'Walk in the Park' around Llys-y- fran reservoir, organised by the Tenby and District branch of Diabetes UK-Cymru, is scheduled this year for June 5, starting at 2 pm. Anyone wishing to take part is asked to register with Maureen Worcester on (01834) 812025/812491 and have a sponsorship form. All money raised goes go to Research into Diabetes, with some very encouraging research already underway, and any funds that can be raised are essential. This is the sixth annual walk, which over the years has proved to be a very popular event attracting 100-140 walkers each year. In the five previous years, an amazing amount of approximately £30,000 has been raised for research.
