Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra will be supporting Cancer Research UK Cymru at the climax to the 'Making Strides against Breast Cancer' Campaign in Wales. Cancer Research UK supporters will be attending a special concert of light classics and movie themes at Folly Farm, Begelly, on Saturday, October 30. Rosie Allen-Mirehouse, chairman, Pembroke local committee, said: "We are grateful for the support of Texaco who are celebrating their 40th anniversary and have worked with the local committee in arranging this very special concert. "We look forward to a very special evening and to helping to raise money towards breast cancer research." Linda Strange, community fund-raiser, Cancer Research UK, said: "We are delighted that the people of West Wales will have an opportunity to listen to the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra at Folly Farm.
