Marjorie Whittaker (nee Chadwick), of John Booth St, Lees, Oldham, Lancs (formerly of Newton Croft, Tenby), died peacefully and surrounded by family at Royal Oldham Hospital on Saturday, May 25. She was 85 and was preceded by her husband of 67 years, Clifford Whittaker of Shaw, Lancs.

Marjorie, who will be sadly missed by her family and friends, is survived by her two sons, Stephen and partner, Charlotte, and Phillip and partner Diana, along with her three grandchildren, Stuart and partner Justin, Heather, and Henry. In Lancashire, she is survived by many loving relations particularly brother-in-law Harry and the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of her late sisters Doreen and Elaine.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 4 at Oldham Crematorium, Hollinwood, Oldham, Lancs, at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Research UK, directly or by collection at the funeral service.
