As previously reported, the death occurred peacefully at home on Saturday, July 29, of Mrs. Barbara Helen Wilson, affectionately known as ‘Helen’, of Carmarthen Road, Kilgetty. She was aged 62.
Helen was a well-known hairdresser who would always lend a helping hand to her many friends and clients in the local community.
Her main interests centred around her loving family, who were very supportive throughout her short illness. Helen also loved fashion, especially the latest shoes and clothes, reading and holidays.
As well as her husband Thomas W. Wilson, she leaves two sons, John and Thomas Wilson.
Helen will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours, friends and many clients.
The funeral service, which took place at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, on Friday, August 11, was led by Stewart and Elizabeth Treharne. Bearers were Thomas Wilson (son), Liam Morrison (nephew), Kenny Badham (brother) and Steven Poole (friend).
