Mr. M. A. Rowe
Lamphey
As reported previously, the death occurred peacefully at home on Monday, June 12, of Mr. Michael Arthur Rowe (affectionately known as Mike), of St. Faiths, Lamphey. He was aged 71.
A native of Pembroke Dock and Lamphey, during his working life Mike served an apprenticeship in Rugby, Warwickshire, where he met Carol, married in 1967, moved to Hampshire and worked at the R.A.E Farnborough.
In 1968, he began work at the British Aircraft Corporation, Weybridge, where he worked on the Concord programme, later moving to Microflow LTD.
In 1973, Mike moved back to Pembroke Dock and worked, for a short time, at Firth Cleveland and the Drawing Office at ITT, Milford, eventually moving to South Pembs District Council, first in planning, then on to be a grants officer, and took early retirement in 1996.
Mike was a member of Tenby and District Camera Club, Probus, the Pembrokeshire Scout Association, and also enjoyed gardening and travelling.
As well as his wife, Carol, family left to mourn are Paul and Helen, Gareth and Lisa (sons and daughters-in-law), Danielle, Oliver, Adam, Macaulay and Dylan (grandchildren), Malcolm and Glenys (brother and sister-in-law), Roger Derby, Jacqueline, Elizabeth and partners, Gemma and partners, Keiran, Olivia, Hayden, Bethany and Dylan (step-children).
The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 24, at St. Faith and Tyfei Church, Lamphey, followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn, Narberth.
Officiating was the Ven. Graham Davies, while bearers were Jim Stobbart, Charlie Kidd, Ian Rogers, Hugh Williams, Adam Rowe, Dylan Rowe, Macaulay Rowe and Oliver Rowe.

Mrs. E. M. Thomas
JEFFREYSTON
(formerly of Broadmoor)
The death occurred at East Park Care Centre, Jeffreyston, on June 16, of Mrs. Eunice M. Thomas, formerly of Council Houses, Broadmoor. She was 87.
A native of Broadmoor, Eunice spent her life as a dedicated housewife and mother, whose main interests were centred around her family.
Her husband, John Thomas, predeceased her in May 1993, but family left to mourn are Rosemary and Norman (daughter and son-in-law), Kelvyn and Natalie (son and daughter-in-law), and Terence (son). Eunice was one of eight children and also left to mourn are David, Mary, Ernie and Trevor, as well as her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at Ebenezer Baptist Chapel, Cold Inn, followed by interment in the chapel cemetery.
Officiating was the Rev. Chris Rees, while bearers were Darren, Joel, Mark and Tony (grandchildren).

MRS. S. M. BEYNON
JEFFREYSTON
As reported previously, the death occurred peacefully at East Park Care Home, Jeffreyston, on Sunday, June 4, of Mrs. Sybil Mary Beynon, aged 97 years, of Jeffreyston.
A native of Jeffreyston, Sybil was a farmer’s wife, being married to Victor Beynon, who predeceased her in February 1985.
Her main interests centered around her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as the church and Mothers’ Union.
Family left to mourn are Colin and Ann, Gerald and Kay (sons), Mary, Rachel and Walter (daughters-in-law), Maria and Andrew, Julie and Richard, Marcus, Sallie and Julian, Kate and Alex and Emma (grandchildren and husbands) and seven great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
The funeral took place at St. Jeffrey’s and St. Oswald’s Church, Jeffreyston, on June 15, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Officiating was the Rev. R. Lewis, assisted by Father Paul Davies, while bearers were Colwyn Harts (nephew), Richard Arthur, Julian Arthur and Alex Torok (grandsons-in-law).

MRS. K. S. IRVING
(nee Morgan)
As reported previously, the death occurred at Tenby Cottage Ward, Park House Court, Tenby, on June 6, of Mrs. Kathleen Sheila Irving, aged 74 years, of 51 West Street, Fishguard, formerly of Ivy Chimney Cottage and Ryelands Place, Kilgetty.
She was the only child of the late Brynley and Vena Morgan and was predeceased by her husband Phil in May 2016.
A former pupil of Pentlepoir CP School and Greenhill Grammer School, Tenby, she worked at Pen Radio and later Rediffusion in Tenby, before transferring to Haverfordwest, where she met her future husband Phil.
They later opened their own TV business in West Street, Fishguard.
Although Kathleen had no immediate family, she will be greatly missed by all those close to her.
This was evident by the large attendance at her funeral at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, on June 15, where the service of thanksgiving and remembrance was conducted by the Rev. Terry Broadhurst.
