A local County Councillor has give an update to residents on the potential of a new Lidl store being built between New Hedges and Tenby.
Last year it was revealed that Lidl had touted proposals for a new foodstore on land off the A478, on Narberth Road, near to Park House Court’s entrance.
Whilst plans were at an early stage, following a consultation process, Lidl were said to be preparing a formal planning application to the Local Authority.
County Councillor for the ward of St Mary out Liberty [New Hedges] said this month: “A number of residents have recently asked about the proposed LIDL store.
“At this stage, I can confirm that no formal planning application has been made, and I’ve not received any updates.”
