Sir, I refer to front page headlines of your current issue, 'Bumper Bank Holiday' and 'Blow for Tenby as £20m Lottery Bid Fails'. The one surely contradicts the other. With the town packed as 'Thousands flock to local attractions', it is obvious that there is no need to spend millions altering the present estimable character of St. Catherine's, the Harbour and the Castle Hill, as envisaged by the county council. Like Bowen Eastlake, I should like to add support to Ivor Jenkins's previous letter on this subject.
Norman Bleines, Tenby.
