Charlie Shivers was on duty this week teaming up with the village’s Salvage Bar and Kitchen, who have bolstered the NYDS promotional push with the donation of a brand new sign.

Ross Barnes took over as manager of the Salvage Bar and Kitchen this summer.

Ross said: “Since our arrival in the village, it has become very clear how important the swim is within the community. We are told that it is the busiest day of the year in the village by far! We are delighted to support such a great event and we wish all the participants the best of luck.”

In the new year, the Salvage Bar and Kitchen will be rebranded as the Harbwr Bar and Kitchen.
