Sian Cavey has been appointed branch manager of Yorkshire Building Society in Tudor Square, Tenby. Sian, who is originally from Merthyr Tydfil, joined the society at its Newmarket branch in eastern England in 1990. Since then her career with the society has taken her to Ipswich, Woodbridge and a role working for the society's mortgage subsidiary, Accord Mortgages Plc. Sian's new role will see her promoting the society, its services and mutuality to the people of Tenby and the surrounding areas. Commenting on her new role, Sian said: "I'm delighted with my new role and I'm looking forward to promoting Yorkshire's wide range of competitive mortgage and savings products and ensuring they are backed up with excellent customer service. I am really looking forward to helping both existing and new members find the best value products to suit their own needs." Sian and her partner Phil have two children, Matthew aged 12 years and 18-month-old Elyssa and they live just outside Pembroke. Sian said: "Since I was a little girl I have been having family holidays in Tenby and Narberth and I have always wanted to live here. "We moved to the area early this year and I have been working at the society's other South Wales branches until the manager vacancy in Tenby was available."
