Narberth Eisteddfod Fundraising Committee is delighted to announce that it has successfully reached its fundraising target of £8,000.

The achievement follows a programme of fundraising events organised by the Narberth Eisteddfod team, all of which received excellent support from the local community.

Committee Chair Glinys Meredydd said: “I would like to thank all of the Narberth Eisteddfod team for their efforts. They organised some fantastic events which were very well supported.

“In addition, I would like to thank Narberth Town Council, which donated £2,000 on behalf of the people of Narberth.”

The committee’s final fundraising event will be a last sale of the locally produced, hand-printed Eisteddfod Garreg Las 2026 T-shirts.

Members of the public are warmly invited to visit the committee on Narberth Carnival Field on Saturday, July 25, for their final chance to win or buy a T-shirt and celebrate the Eisteddfod’s return to Pembrokeshire.

The committee would like to thank everyone who attended an event, made a donation, volunteered their time, bought a T-shirt or helped promote the fundraising campaign.

Reaching the £8,000 target is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when the Narberth community comes together in support of the Eisteddfod.
